Medical Home Port Team Panama City

Our goal is to provide primary care in a way that best meets the needs of Navy Medicine’s beneficiaries.  The Medical Homeport team will ensure that care is all-inclusive and integrated with all other care provided within our healthcare system.   Care delivered in the Medical Homeport model includes, but is not limited to, readiness, prevention, wellness, behavioral health, and disease management.  Our
Medical Homeport team provides comprehensive health care for active duty, family members and retirees.  The scope of family practice encompasses ages 2 years through 64 years.

Pharmacy

The NBHC Panama City Pharmacy is open from 0800 – 1545, Monday through Friday. 

The TRICARE pharmacy can be utilized by all TRICARE eligible beneficiaries. Eligibility status will be verified in DEERS. Active duty, retirees and eligible dependents are asked to utilize the Naval Hospital refill service 1-888-513-4164 to order refill.  These refills can be picked up at the pharmacy during the normal working hours.

Dental treatments such as:

  • Restorative (Fillings, Crowns, Bridges)
  • Prosthetic (Implants)
  • Endodontic (Root Canal) Therapy
  • Exodontia (Extraction of Teeth)

We also perform:

  • Examinations
  • Radiographs (X-Rays)

Dental Emergencies

The following are usually considered dental emergencies:

  • Severe Pain
  • Severe Swelling
  • Uncontrollable Bleeding
  • Acute Trauma

The following are generally NOT considered to be dental emergencies:

  • Loose teeth (adult or baby teeth) unless associated with trauma/injury
  • Loose permanent or temporary crowns and/or broken fillings or teeth that occur while eating

Directions

Naval Branch Health Clinic Panama City is located at 2500 Veterans Way, Bldg 645, Panama City, Florida 32408. 
There are two major highways running into the Panama City area--US Highways 231 and 98. Highway 231 runs North and South, and crosses Highway 98. Highway 98 runs East and West and passes by the Naval Support Activity Panama City. Interstate 10 (crossing North Florida and the Panhandle East and West), is approximately 50 miles North of Panama City. If traveling I10, look for the 231 South. Where 231 crosses 98 (in Panama City), turn right and travel along 98 west. Cross over the Hathaway Bridge and prepare to turn left at the 2nd traffic light (Thomas Drive). Travel south on Thomas Drive and go approximately 3 miles and turn left on to Magnolia Drive.  Naval Branch Health Clinic is about one half of a mile down on your left.
