Pharmacy
You have landed on this page because you received a text message from the Pharmacy.
Pharmacy can send two types of text messages at this time. All Pensacola pharmacies must send identical messages. There is limited space to explain the text message and your specific request. We apologize for any confusion as we work adapting with our new system and find better ways to inform you the status of your prescription.
Verified Prescriptions
(text message is sent when the prescription(s) are verified by our pharmacist(s)
- We are preparing the prescriptions for pick up.
- If you activated prescription(s) at the dispensing pharmacy or requested a refill from Belle Chasse, LA, this means your prescription will be ready for pick up in just a few minutes during normal business hours.
- Scriptcenter pick up at NH Pensacola will be loaded in the kiosk by the end of the day. Next day pick up may be best to ensure it was loaded.
- Refill pickup at the Drive-through pharmacy located by the NEX on Corry Station will be ready the next business day as we deliver the medication.
- Refill requests which are mailed from NMRTC Pensacola, FL will take two business days to be delivered and be ready for pick up. These are pharmacies located in:
- Millington, TN
- Gulfport, MS
- Meridian, MS
- Whiting Field (Milton), FL
- Panama City, FL
- Refrigerated items and controlled substances are not mailed and prepared on site. You may receive two text messages stating the prescription(s) are verified.
Delayed Prescriptions
(text message sent when we cannot fill the medication immediately)
- The pharmacy team will do our best to call when significant delays occur. We cannot leave detailed messages on answering machines due to privacy concerns.
- A provider’s clarification is needed before verifying the safety the therapy.
- The medication is not in stock and working on obtaining it. This normally takes 1 business days.
- The medication was requested to be picked up at an alternate pharmacy than the one originally requested to be filled.
Why did I receive two or more text messages?
- You may receive both a Verified and Delay text message in these situations.
- When one prescription was requested a Delay text message followed by a Verified text message means your prescription is verified and the delay was resolved.
- When two or more prescriptions are requested, you may receive both text messages if one has a delay and the other medication(s) are verified. We are working on resolving confusion in this situation.
- You may have both refills and new prescriptions being prepared at different pharmacies and cannot differentiate between pharmacies at this time.
