Attention All Staff, Patients, and Families:

As Hurricane Helene approaches, Naval Hospital Pensacola is taking proactive measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our community. Please review the following important updates regarding our operations during this time:\
 

Early Release and Facility Closure

  • Date:Thursday, September 26, 2024
  • Time: 12:00 PM
    • All non-essential personnel will be released by 12:00 PM. Please ensure you have completed any necessary preparations by this time.
  • Clinic Operations:
    • Morning appointments will proceed as scheduled.
    • Last patient appointments will be at 11:00 AM to allow sufficient time for staff and patients to safely leave the facility.
    • Pharmacy and Laboratory: Both will close at 11:00 AM.
    • Urgent Care Clinic (UCC): The last patient will be seen at 10:30 AM.
       

Child Development Center (CDC)

  • Pickup Time: No later than 12:00 PM
    • Parents and guardians, please plan to pick up your children by 12:00 PM to ensure a safe and orderly departure from the base.
       

Resuming Operations

  • We anticipate resuming normal operations at 9:00 AM on Friday. Please be aware that this may change depending on the storm's impact. Continue to monitor this website and other official communication channels for updates.
 

Safety and Preparedness Tips

  • Ensure you have an emergency plan in place for you and your family.
  • Secure outdoor objects that could become hazards in high winds.
  • Stay informed by monitoring local news and weather reports.
  • Follow any evacuation orders or safety instructions from local authorities.
